Shelton Academy – Financial Services Training Program
The Shelton Academy Financial Services Training Program is a full time, paid, 18-month program that will provide dynamic, challenging and rewarding tools to help build a fulfilling career in Finance. Our program is broken into four segments where you and your peers will study to obtain FINRA licenses and given a one-on-one opportunity to rotate through our Client Service, Mutual Fund Operations, and Sales & Digital Marketing departments.
We are currently searching for candidates to participate in the June 2025 – December 2026 program.

What Our Training Program Offers:

Department Specifics:
Client Service:
- Build collaborative relationships through inbound and outbound calls with our clientele
- Interact daily with mutual fund shareholders, 401(k) plan participants and Registered Investment Advisors
- Review correspondence for accuracy, assuring all documentation is complete
- Manage client transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Facilitate timely resolution of client service issues
- Ensure high-level of client service and satisfaction standards are met
Fund Administration & Operations:
- Support in the preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures, schedules of investments, portfolio summary reports and board reporting materials
- Coordinate with all service providers to ensure accuracy and continuity in mutual fund operations
- Perform detailed trial balance reconciliations, including reconciling asset positions to custodian records and creating supporting documentation
- Ensure integrity of transactions across all entities
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with third-party providers
- Respond to various ad-hoc requests and projects from CEO, portfolio management and others
Sales & Digital Marketing:
- Build strong relationships with current advisors and advisory firms for which we do business – wealth managers, advisors to 401k Plans, due diligence personnel by consistently delivering service and offering other forms of marketing support
- Deliver value added support documentation, research, data, and due diligence material to prospects throughout the sales cycle
- Help ensure accurate content management across website, email and social, meeting deadlines while improving and maintaining a consistent brand image
- Plan, develop, execute, and measure email campaigns including general branded, targeted, and automated campaigns through Pardot
- Manage integration with all data sources coming into our CRM Salesforce platform and maintain data integrity
- Provide reporting on our paid search and display advertising campaigns
- Assist with the creation of accurate, compelling and client-focused Product Fact Sheets and Quarterly Market Commentaries which includes interfacing with key internal stakeholders

The Shelton Academy Financial Services Training Program is offered in our Denver office and is considered a full time, paid position. The program offers an annual base salary of $50,000, bonus potential, healthcare, paid time off and a matching 401(k) plan.
