Equity Income Strategy

The Shelton Equity Income Strategy serves as a “core equity” strategy within an overall asset allocation program. Shelton Capital selects a diversified portfolio of large cap blue-chip equities, all of which are selected based on in-depth fundamental analysisPortfolio sector weightings are designed to be similar to those of the S&P 500, to avoid sector concentrations. The number of stocks held per portfolio is influenced by the need to own a minimum of 100 shares per position, to efficiently match underlying stocks and call options.

By completing an Investor Profile Questionnaire with the help of a financial advisor, the strategy is flexible to deliver on a client’s preferences. No investment strategy is without risk. Upside potential is limited and the estimated yield target may not be met.

There are management Fees and other charges associated with the Shelton Separately Managed Account programs.

Options involve risk and are not suitable for everyone. Prior to buying or selling an option, your client must receive a copy of CHARACTERISTICS AND RISKS OF STANDARDIZED OPTIONS.
